Physical and Chemical Properties | Formaldehyde free fixing agent AE is a cationic type, belonging to the polyamine resin type fixing agent. It is a light yellow transparent viscous liquid that can be mixed in cold and hot water in any proportion. It can be mixed with non ionic and cationic textile additives. |
Use | Formaldehyde free fixing agent AE is used for the fixation treatment of cotton fabrics dyed with reactive dyes, which can significantly improve the dyeing fastness of the dyed fabric, such as soaping fastness, friction fastness, sweat fastness, and ironing fastness. |
Store in a dry and cool place.
1. Add a certain amount of dimethylamine and deionized water to the reaction kettle, stir while raising the temperature to around 80 ℃, slowly add a certain amount of epichlorohydrin for addition reaction, with a dripping time of 2-3 hours. After the dripping is completed, continue the insulation reaction for 2-3 hours, and cool to room temperature to obtain component A.
2. Add a certain amount of diethylenetriamine and dicyandiamide to the reaction kettle, stir while heating up to about 150 for condensation reaction. During the reaction, a large amount of ammonia gas is released and absorbed by a receiving device (using water to absorb ammonia gas). After the condensation reaction is completed, lower the temperature to 80-90 ℃, add an appropriate amount of glacial acetic acid aqueous solution, wait for all the condensation products to dissolve, then add the specified amount of deionized water, and lower the temperature to 55-60 ℃ to obtain component B.
3. Slowly add component A to component B, maintain the temperature at 55-60 ℃, and then slowly add a certain amount of epichlorohydrin while stirring for an addition reaction. The addition time is 2-3 hours. After the addition is completed, continue the insulation reaction for 1-2 hours, cool to room temperature, and adjust the pH value of the product to 6-7 with glacial acetic acid. Finally, the product is obtained.
